Experienced Sprayer/Finisher - Cabinets
FULL TIME | $20 - $26/HR
Job Summary:
We are growing and looking for an individual to fill a full-time position in our finish team. This is year-round, consistent work. The finisher/sprayer will be responsible for finishing a variety of cabinet parts and components. The finisher/sprayer will also set up, operate, and maintain spray guns/machines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of paint equipment and application.
- Ability to determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections.
- Maintain equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently.
- Minimize waste of raw materials as well as work in a clean and tidy manner.
- Must be self-motivated with an eye for detail and steady hand-to-eye coordination.
- Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and must be willing to comply will all health and safety rules and regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Prior experience is required.
- Excellent attendance is required.
- Attention to detail and quality of work produced.
- Ability to learn to spray to a color/quality standard – must successfully complete a spray test.
- Ability to work in an organized manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard, and in the necessary time frame.
- Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout the shift.
- Hours and overtime dictated by production, including daily and/or weekly (weekend) overtime.
Education and Experience:
- Prior wood painting experience is a MUST, 5 years minimum.
- Stain matching experience is a MUST, 2 years minimum.
- Wipe & spray application experience is a MUST, 2 years minimum
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
